Hoffman Ranches is a family owned and operated cattle ranch that have over 50 years experience breeding top quality cattle. Dennis Hoffman began his career through the 4-H/FFA programs in Oregon. He spent many years working for established purebred ranches breeding several National Champions. These opportunities have created the knowledge necessary to build a fault free, low maintenance, and a highly functional cowherd.

The majority of our program was built around Hereford cows acquired from Dixie's parents (Marge and Allen Nelson) at the Nelson Hereford Ranch of Livingston, Montana with their genetics dating back to 1958. These cows were a set of practical registered Herefords that have offered us the traits needed to create top quality, functional cattle.
